Company Brings DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas-DFW Airport North, Fairfield Inn & Suites Dulles Airport Chantilly and Homewood Suites by Hilton Oakland-Waterfront to “Like-New” Status

WASHINGTON, D.C./OAKLAND, Calif., February 23, 2017— Officials of PM Hotel Group, a leading, national hotel management company, today announced that it has completed the renovations of the 282-room DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas-DFW Airport North, the 84-room/suite Fairfield Inn & Suites Dulles Airport Chantilly and the 132-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton Oakland-Waterfront.

“Including the recently announced multi-million refurbishment of the 353-room Sheraton Raleigh Hotel in North Carolina, we already have overseen and completed the renovation of four hotels in the first two months of the year, totaling more than $14 million,” said Joseph Bojanowski, president of PM Hotel Group. “With the economy currently on firmer ground, businesses have decided to begin spending on such things as travel and meetings again, a boon to the hotel industry.  To maintain and/or enhance our hotels’ positions within their various markets, we continually look for ways to improve the guest experience, whether through product and amenity updates or improved management and marketing practices.  Each of these hotels have achieved ‘like-new’ status, and we are confident they quickly will regain their rightful standing as market leaders within their segments.”

DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas-DFW Airport North

Situated between Highway 114 and I-635 and just minutes from downtown and north Dallas, the DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas-DFW Airport North underwent a massive public space refurbishment.  The hotel lobby, meeting space and public areas received new carpeting, wall coverings, artwork and furniture.  The custom-designed business center was relocated to the lobby area, and the unique, bi-level executive lounge received new paint, vinyl, flooring and furniture, as well as custom artwork featuring local artists.  Guestrooms also obtained new furniture, and the hotel purchased two new vans for complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Dulles Airport Chantilly

Conveniently located near Dulles Airport, the newly renovated Fairfield Inn & Suites Dulles Airport Chantilly hotel is minutes from the Dulles Tech Corridor, historic Manassas, Leesburg attractions and Virginia wineries, and a short drive to Washington, D.C.  All public areas were updated as part of the renovation process.  The lobby received new tile flooring, carpeting, light fixtures, wall vinyl and paint.  The breakfast area added a communal table equipped with electrical outlets, as well as new chairs and extra, smaller tables.  To help guests start their days, the hotel also updated its breakfast menu.  Corridors were enhanced with new carpet, paint, light fixtures and signage.  Additionally, guest rooms were given a more modern feel with the addition of new light fixtures, carpet, paint, hard and soft goods and new refrigerators.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Oakland

Centrally located at the Oakland Estuary, directly across from Coast Guard Island and Alameda and just minutes away from the Oakland airport and downtown Oakland, the extended stay, pet-friendly hotel completely redesigned its lobby and public areas.  The new concept allows for more open space and natural lighting from the waterfront.  The lobby received new tile flooring, carpeting, light fixtures, wall vinyl, paint, redesigned fireplace, comfortable seating, lounge tables and 55” LED televisions.  The front desk also was redesigned to allow for better guest interaction, the suite shop was given a new layout and cabinetry, and the business center was relocated and updated.  The dining area was completely redone, from flooring and carpeting to new furniture, and a communal table with electrical outlets and additional seating was installed.  Of particular note, the hotel’s outdoor area was enhanced to include new seating, fire pit, barbeque, pergola and lighting, as well as new furniture for the outdoor smoking lounge.  The meeting rooms also received new carpets, paint, artwork, vinyl, 47” television and ergonomic chairs.
