Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Alexandria – Old Town Completes Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
PM Hotel Group announces that the 178-room Holiday Inn® Hotel & Suites Alexandria – Old Town hotel completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the guest rooms and public spaces at the end of 2017.
The renovation introduces an updated, modern design aesthetic to the hotel while paying homage to the classic architecture and small town atmosphere of surrounding Old Town Alexandria. Corridors received new carpeting, wall treatments and lighting complementing the same enhancements in the guest rooms. Guests can enjoy a good night’s sleep on the new Sealy Posturepedic beds and luxurious pillows and linens. Additional upgrades to the guest rooms include new bathroom vanities and 49” HD TVs.
In addition to all new furniture, carpeting and lighting, the lobby now features an expanded business center, with internet access and printing, and a market adjacent to the front desk for snacks, beverages, souvenirs and sundry items. The restaurant and bar, serving American cuisine and regional favorites, have been opened up to connect to the lobby creating a larger space for guests to socialize and enjoy the flat screen TVs surrounding the bar. For guests with recreation in mind, the fitness center has received all new equipment and the interior pool deck has been resurfaced and features new furniture. For meeting and event attendees, new carpeting, wallcovering and lighting are further enhanced with new tables, chairs and audio-visual equipment.
